Germany become the FIFA U-17 World Cup champions after beating France on penalties in the final in Indonesia on Saturday 2nd December. It’s the first time when a team wins both World Cup and Euro Cup titles at junior level.

10 man German holds their opponent France to 2-2 draw till the end of the match and extra time to make it to the penalty shootout . Goalkeeper Konstantin Heide makes two saves which help the Germans to beat the blues by 4-3 on the penalties and lift their maiden FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The Germans takes the lead in the first half as Paris Brunner finds the net from penalty spot . Noah Darvic extended the lead to 2-0 in the early second half in 51st minute . France comebacks three minutes later when reduce the lead with a strike from the penalty area.

The went down to 10-man when midfielder Osawe sent off after receiving his second yellow in the 69th minute.

France increases the pressure and continues with their attacks . In 85th minute they gets the result as Mathis Amougou scores the leveler with a simple tap-in .

Then the Germans held their nurve till the penalty shootout where they become the supreme to win the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 .
